The Apex of Industrial Resilience
🛡️ 10% Kevlar® Reinforced

Spectrum FGF Pellet ABS Kevlar is a professional-grade technical granulated material designed for Fused Granular Fabrication (FGF). By infusing industrial-strength ABS with Kevlar® (Aramid) fibers, this material provides unparalleled impact resistance and structural integrity for large-scale additive manufacturing.

Ideally suited for high-stress mechanical environments, these pellets combine the ease of processing of ABS with the extreme energy-absorption properties of aramid fibers. This composite is engineered for industrial robots and massive FGF extruders, ensuring dimensional accuracy and long-term durability for heavy-duty components.

💡
The Kevlar vs. Carbon Difference:

Unlike carbon-filled materials which increase stiffness at the cost of brittleness, Kevlar reinforcement allows the ABS matrix to absorb shocks without fracturing. Additionally, Kevlar is non-abrasive, significantly reducing wear on your FGF extrusion screw and nozzle compared to glass or carbon fiber alternatives.

Engineered Performance Characteristics

💥 Superior Impact Toughness

Excellent resistance to dynamic loads and mechanical shock, preventing sudden catastrophic failure of parts.

🪶 Ultra-Lightweight Density

With a density of only 1.04 g/cm³, it is an ideal choice for large aerospace and automotive structural components.

⚙️ Reduced Equipment Wear

Non-abrasive aramid fibers allow for continuous industrial production with minimal downtime for parts replacement.

📐 Improved Dimensional Stability

Significantly lower shrinkage compared to standard ABS, enabling the printing of massive, complex geometries with ease.
