Spectrum HIPS-X is an advanced industrial filament specifically designed for two critical roles: as a highly efficient soluble support material for ABS-based prints, and as a lightweight, low-shrinkage engineering plastic in its own right. HIPS-X shares a similar thermal profile with ABS and ASA, ensuring perfect interlayer adhesion during dual-extrusion prints. Once the print is complete, HIPS-X can be fully dissolved in a Limonene solution, allowing for the creation of complex internal geometries and moving mechanical parts with zero scarring.
